Funny that you're excited to get into the ring against a guy where no opponent has heard the final bell. With that said, usually these type guys are hot for awhile and the flame fizzles out eventually (Wilder). This could be Marcus night and he catches Beterbiev on an off night.

On one hand you guys complain that certain fighters won't fight each other because they're scared and then turn around and then question why someone isn't being a coward and wants to actually fight a champion. This is the HBO-3G bullshyte con job act II except this time ESPN is doing it for Beterbiev. HBO, on a mission to find a great white hype, proclaimed in 3G's first fight in America against a bum, that he was the greatest MW ever. Yes, A better MW than RJJ, B-Hop, James Toney, Marvin Hagler and more. Now that HBO is no more you don't hear anything about 3G anymore. Beterbiev has only had 9 fights since 2015 and look at his boxrec record, no American can tell you who the hell anyone of those guys are, and don't tell me Gvozdyk because he was only known for KOing Superman. Fighters like 3G and Beterbiev come from having easy careers fighting in their home countries and then come to America at around age 30, where boxing is at it's highest level and have the added benefit of having a network, because of POLITICAL reasons, promote you to be the best thing since sliced bread. Meanwhile in America... blacks, whites, Mexican Americans, Mexicans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Filipinos, Jamacians and South Americans are fighting each other non stop starting at 8 and 9 years old. By the time they reach 25 yrs old they're burnt out. They never had the luxury of a network pumping millions of dollars into a campaign of lies to push a political agenda that has nothing to do with boxing. Promoters have been treating these boxers like shyte forever. In comes Sir Al Haymon. The rest is history. SIGFRIED BLACK HITLER!! hahaha to all you Haymon haters

True. There are exceptions, but ... it's not like most boxers had a choice between being a doctor or a lawyer, and being a fighter. Then again, where else are you going to get the chance at making millions when you're bordeline illeterate? Now, I'm not saying boxers are ******, but if you're smart enough, you kind of figure out pretty quickly that being punched in the head repeatedly isn't part of "healthy lifestyle".

when beterbiev was with pbc and al gaymon that's when his career really was going to waste. beterbiev joining bob arum's stable was the best thing he ever did.
