He's like Lennox Lewis, always hinting that he'll fight again without actually doing it. I doubt it.

And I think his son just started boxing amateur, he's 14 I believe.

Yeah he does a lot of that. Unwise for him now, he just turned 40, hasn't boxed in 4 years, stays in shape but still, bad idea to come back.

Yeah, i fought at a tournament where his son fought too, his son is pretty good, he's only had a few fights but he looks sharp and collected like a more experienced guy, looks freakishly like him too in the facial features.

It looks like he's enjoying retirement anyways.

Yep, I've heard some good things about his son, could be one to keep an eye out for in the future.

His career did end somewhat prematurely. He was just 36. Wonder why...

He was very inactive, breaking down with injuries often and his abilities were declining, not severely, but noticeably.

Kostya retired because he lost to the better man, nobody was saying Kostya had declined when he looked SENSATIONAL against Sharmba just a few months before he fought, Hatton.

he did have injury problems. the quote below is from wikipedia regarding his injury.

"His first fight in 2004 was supposed to have been held on February 7 in a rematch against Sharmba Mitchell. It would have been Tszyu's first fight as a professional in Moscow, but Tszyu injured his shoulder during training. He had successful surgery to correct the problem, but the injury further extended his absence from the ring. "
