Well match him against somebody worth a damn and people will chill with the criticism. You can't carry on your own damn campaign within the division and act like the victim when people call you out for not matching him against other top lightweights.
The top Lightweight is STILL Lomachenko and he isn't even champion. Check that out! Lol. Teo beat him, flaunted the belts and got canned on his first defense. Ryan is just....whatever. Tank is great at putting on big events but he still hasn't dine **** at 135. Haney is....well, he's probably another guy who likes the idea of being champion but hasn't done much either.
Loma is the man and the Kambosos fight makes more sense while Tank and the others do whatever they've been doing.

Agreed but I think it goes much deeper than that. There are intense tribal wars going on in boxing due to the nationalism/populism culture that is so strong in the world today. If tank were with arum, DLH, or Hearn he wouldn’t be hated as he is with Haymon and Floydicee likes this.

Total agreement. There is a reason promoters like Boricua fighters fighting in NY/NJ, Mexican fighters in LA and San Antonio etc etc. have tank fight where his fan base is…..Baltimore, Atlanta, Houston, hell test out Detroit and Cleveland/Cincinnati as well

Anyone that knows me here knows I'm one of Fraud Jr's biggest detractors (Pac fight or not). That is hilarious because I've honestly never even had that in my mind since watching Tank. In fact, I don't care if he loses or wins, I enjoy his fights thus far.
Fraud really loves to make everything about him though doesn't he? Again, I never even had this thought in my head when watching Tank but now it might just be there, lol.
My only critique on Tank so far is he needs better fights with bigger names. So far he's gone mostly the path of least resistance. I'd like to see him in with some lively dogs. I know Cruz turned out to be one but until we saw him against Tank, we didn't know that. We also know, Cruz was running on a higher gear in terms of trying to win than Tank was because Tank didn't really know the guy that well. It was Cruz moment to shine more so.

I'd be happy to see Tank win AGAINST TOP COMPETITION. I said similar things about Deontay Wilder, and we saw how that turned out. Just winning isn't enough. It has to be against top competition.
