Loma still can do a lot in boxing, but it's a pity he can't go that high up in weight, it seems lightweight is his ideal weight.

Bivol has bigger name fight coming up for him in Gilberto Ramirez, if the latter wins his fight this week, and if Dmitry isn't going to duck him. He has no reason to, he has the skills, but it's a dangerous fight for Bivol.

It’d be exciting to see Lomo vs: 1- The Aussie. 2- Haney, 3- Re-Lopez, 4- Tank G. Davis. It seems Lomo is most likable, to me anyway, and has the most respectable resume; pro mainly but that amateur pedigree means a lot. Lopez definitely beat him, also has decent history but acted like some child regarding his perceived reputation vs Lomo who he beat. Maybe his anxiety (for $ & fame) was ahead of his motivation to just be great but his comments were annoying. Haney is certainly respectable but seems to be “hang’n in there” more so than entertaining with power & moves. G. Davis is most unrecognized for some time, just coming to light now but still mainly to hard-core fans & not the general public.

Davis’ lack of popularity is curious given Mayweather prompts him but who’s to say Floyd Jr was ever any great promotor? In any case G. Davis seems the real threat to Lomo & no longer Lopez who seemed to burn out before that Aussie beat him. That Aussie was damn good but seemed to catch Lopez on some mental low. … So, if Lomo can beat them all he’ll stay atop my list of worthy champs. And probably the Ring’s P4P also.

Why Lomo? The connotation that he's gay? Just curious - usually these things get left behind in high school. Generally not an established man's character. I get Lopez acts like this, but is that type of person you're happy to be?

Loma looks so small when he fights at 135. Almost like a little kid who's not scared to stand up to someone bigger than him.

For a while I thought he can do well at 140 (maybe not #1, but top 5). I dropped that opinion. Especially since he doesnt have a strong punch.

Lomachenko Vs any of the top 4-5 guys is a recipe for a great fight.
Unfortunately Garcia is up in the air until he is ready mentally to fight, and may not step straight into a top level match. That is assuming they let him keep the belt.
And no way do Tank's management let him anywhere near a legitimate threat. It was clear against Cruz that he isn't at that level just yet.
So realistically, Kambosos Jr is the best option for a classic LW battle next year.
