Keyshawn Davis Beats Almost Everyone At Lightweight Right Now. Convince Me I'm Wrong.

I have been high on Keyshawn Davis aver since AIBA. I thought he beat Cruz, to be honest. I think Davis is better than Stevenson. He has the same level of skill but, unlike Stevenson, he has power.

I think Davis beats Haney. Easily. I think he beats Tank, Easily. I don't think he beats Loma, but I think he can beat Teofimo. I really think Davis can. I honestly think that Davis and Castro are the next big boxers coming out of the states, and that they are going to dominate the lower weight classes for the next decade or more, within a couple years.

    Convince me I'm wrong!!

I like the kid, very good prospect. Only time will tell though.

There's a lot of boxing experiences that he still has to go through to show us that he belongs tbh. First time getting hit back, first time going 10+ rounds, first time step up in class, and many others

There are many cases of fighters who looked the part during their prospect years but never panned out. We usually see this during these boxing experiences I mentioned.

Baby steps my friend. I like Davis though, looks like a top talent. Let's see how he handles everything first before we claim that he could beat the cream of the crop

Yeah. Definitely. And this guy he fought was an MMA guy, I think. But he's down pretty well with other opponents. Crawford sounds as if he thinks more of Davis than he does Shakur. Davis is a nice kid, too. A good guy. I've watched him fight for awhile now, and I think he's going to leapfrog. Now that he's be trained by Bomac and gets that experience over there in that gym, I think he could climb on the P4P list in a couple of years. I think they're going to fast track him. So we'll see!

Keyshawn Davis does look like Bud Crawford 2.0 stylistically, great to see Bud taking him under his wing because they do have a similar style. Excellent Boxing Skills but Aggressive with a Killer Instinct! With that Level of Talent he can, will and should be fast tracked. I don't know if he beats those guys right not any neither of them will give him the opportunity anyway but I do think his Ceiling his higher than all those guys

Outstanding Amateur Career he is a Real BLUE CHIP Prospect no Artificial Hype Needed

Yeah! Absolutely. He went to Arum already and asked to fight Lomachenko. That's kind of crazy, to be honest. But he said he wants to fight him before he gets too old. I still want to see what he does in his next couple of fights. He'll have to work his way up the rankings list because Loma is not going to fight him just because Davis wants to.

There are two guys right now, out of the United States, that I think are going to be bigger than Davis, Haney, Garcia and a lot of these other guys, and that's Keyshawn Davis and Marc Castro. Castro actually fought Davis three times in the amateurs and beat him all three times. That's crazy. But looking at Davis now, he's definitely bigger and stronger than he was then, so that's a match up I'll be looking forward to years from now.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you. He's going to be Crawford 2.0. I'm glad he got with Top Rank. They'll move him in a way that he's going to really develop.
