How Good Are manny’s Wins Over Cotto & Morales

manny was the only opponent to DESTROY Cotto

    Mosley didn’t
    Floyd didn’t
    Alvarez didn’t

Morales wasn’t as past it as originally thought

years later as a chubby undersized old man Morales would go onto give boxing lessons to Maidana and Danny Garcia

Cotto was at a catchweight so that's always gonna be a suspect win imo

Looking back Manny fought Morales twice coming off losses. First loss coming off Barrera, and second loss coming off Zahir. The weight cut from 135 to 130 killed Morales, he was weight drained too imo. Morales had a second life against maidana and garcia because he was at a more comfortable weight of 140

Cotto: Excellent win. One of his best. Cotto started sharp but made the mistake a lot of guys did trading with the Pacman. Went on to have a lot of success all the way to 160.

Morales: Coming off a humiliating loss, completely shot after that despite being gifted a 140 title years later. I don't rate those wins.

how is losing to raheem a humiliating loss? raheem was good and morales was moving up in weight. not to mention raheem had a style that no one looked good against, just look at juarez or freitas. i dont see how he could be shot if he gave maidana and garcia 2 top 140 pounders razor close fights years later, not to mention he was robbed against david diaz after the pac fight. raheem was just a tricky fighter

losing to barrera oh my god what a bum! morales was ranked #2 still after that loss and that was also pacs first fight at 130, having already beaten the #1 guy in barrera. what a cherry pick!!!

                  Morales great W
                  Cotto good W

Cotto fight was at a catchweight and he was actually destroyed first by Margarito who is a below average fighter himself.

Imagine Pacquiao fighting Morales before Barrera or heck even after Barrera(before Marquez did).

Morales himself said he watched over and over and over again the fight against Marquez. He went in that first fight with somewhat of a blue print and it worked.

I always felt if Morales fought Pacquiao without knowing anything about him like Barerra and Marquez did, he too would've been blasted out of there.

A lot goes into film watching that gets overlooked, but I think having both fights from Barerra and Marquez to look at, Morales took total advantage
