Mosley, Hopkins Clottey, Berto: HBO Debacle Looms

How about showing it in ABC, NBC, CBS, or ESPN.

cuz those networks won't pay millions to show the fight. I think what Golden Boy should do is there own ppv show. Just like what Bob Arum does when he cant get dates. Have Mosley-Clottey main event and stack up the undercard and charge like a 34.95 and also do what they did for Mayweather/Marquez and put it on theaters.

Why doesn't other networks buy the fights that HBO can't seem to get together.... expecting Mosley and Hopkins to wait around at the end of their careers is asking too much.

i would hope that this fight would be on regular hbo and not pay per view but if it wasnt i would def pay 35$ to watch that fight

Why can't they just move it up to December 19?

I send an email to HBO 2 days ago asking the same question. I got no response back. But, the more I thought about it I came to the conclusion that HBO do not want to go over there budget for the year. But here is my question if they move Mosley to Jan 30, 2010 why I ask Hopkins to move to Feb? Both are Golden Boy partners and HBO would have a new budget. Why not have both on the card for Jan 30?

Since the past two years. Pacquiao, Pavlik and Cotto are the only name fighters on TR. GBP has Oscar himself, Hopkins, Mosley, Winky Wright, Marquez, and Mayweather.

Sounds like the only thing good that may come out of this is more time for the winner of Dawson and Johnson to possibly face Hopkins. If Clottey were to fight on the Pavlik undercard I wonder who he would fight? Berto should step up and defend the ECW welterweight title.

They also have Donaire who pretty damn good, Calderon, Juanma Lopez, Gamboa, Edwin Valero who might become a big star if he can get cleared to fight in the states. Only Texas have cleared him. Look at the fighters you named that Golden Boy has. They all are over 30. While Top Rank have some that the next generation.
