"Nobody is making excuses. He had a bad shoulder going into the fight which he didn't know about. He went easy in the first few rounds then started fighting, because he was afraid of his shoulder. I know the doctor who operated on his shoulder," Arum said.

He didn't know about the injury, but he took it easy because he was afraid of his shoulder? Yeah Bob, you're making excuses! Let me guess, the doctor was the same one that fixed Manny's shoulder, after his loss to Mayweather?

Manny Pacquiao: God, salt water helped heal torn rotator cuff
    August 21, 2015

Manny Pacquiao suffered a torn rotator cuff during his May loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and subsequently underwent surgery to correct the issue.

But now the Filipino star says something else aided his recovery: divine intervention.

"I'm fine. It's God's work," Pacquiao said in the Phillippines last week, according to The Philippine Star . "I never saw a doctor. I never did rehab. All I did was to swim in the sea as often as I could. The salt water healed my wound."

Pacquiao, 36, had the procedure done at Kerlan Jobe Orthopedics in Los Angeles by surgeon Neal ElAttrache.

Vasiliy Lomachenko undergoes shoulder surgery after losing lightweight titles to Teofimo Lopez
    October 20, 2020

"When he came in from the Ukraine for his last stages of preparation for the fight, he was having some difficulty with the shoulder," surgeon Dr. Neal S. ElAttrache told Yahoo Sports. "It turns out he had badly bruised the rotator cuff and chipped a piece of cartilage, which we didn't realize at the time. But we knew he'd badly bruised the rotator cuff and badly bruised the bone where the rotator cuff attaches to the shoulder. That was roughly six weeks before the fight and we got him to where he was comfortable enough to train. He said he was able to train OK, but it continued to cause him pain during the fight.

Loma, all you need is God and Salt Water! LMAO!

I know Al Haymon is a mysterious guy who we never see nor hear from, I’m starting to worry he might have died & someone is acting on his behalf because wtffffff is going on over at PBC? Andy Ruiz vs Arreola, Tank vs Rolly/Isaac Cruz, Luis Ortiz vs Charles Martin on PPV & now this ??? Wtf
Totally ridiculous! I hope Barrios whoops his ass! Someone must be buying these fights! I can't see why they would continue to do it, if they're failing? I'll be watching Tank vs. Pitbull on Saturday! That card was worth the PPV, but not on a Sunday!

They've been saying that since 2017! They're still here! Lol!

Bumachenko is a poison for the lightweight division, he will attempt to regain the WBC 'Franchise' title and falsely claim to be 'undisputed', perpetuating the WBC's financial and political agenda, at the cost of clarity in the 135 weight-class.

Vasily was the agent and harold of chaos in this destructive construct in 2020. Devin 'The Dream' Haney on the other hand, has no plans on furthering the existence of 'Franchise' title or swerving Mauricio Sauliman ; Devin is what the lightweight division needs, not Vasily Evilchenko.

I get it, but the only sports I stay up late for, on a Sunday, are the Super Bowl, and NBA Finals games! Martin was in Vegas on Saturday. They could've fought in L.A. on Saturday! I saw Ellerbe saying Hearn didn't know what he was doing, because Haney's audience was at Martin's show! LMAO! On the real though, Haymon and Floyd need to do better marketing African-American fighters to the African-American audience too! Getting tired of seeing African American fighters wearing sombreros, getting booed, etc. Why can't Cool Boy Steph, and Boots do a show in Philly? Why can't Tank and GRJ get it on in DC? Why can't Spence vs. Crawford happen in ATL or Charlotte? Why don't we have shows on Ali or MLK B-Day, or Juneteenth? Cinco de Mayweather was cool, but NOT! You feel me?

I get it you dont like Lomachenko ... i almost feel like you would rather he not exist.

One thing is for sure, his existence trumps yours in regards to boxing

I wrote in another comment - Loma is European ****y, but one thing I really like about him is that he does not verbally disrespect other fighters.

Many of today's young fighters act as if they're fighting guys that ****d their sisters. Hate spreads tremendous energy that makes life really unsatisfactory all across.
