Thurman returns January 29th on Fox PPV

Thurman mentioned a few weeks ago he wants a couple warmup fights before he takes on any of the top guys.

I gotta think it's gonna be someone like Omar Figueroa. Maybe he's on the undercard of another headliner...

If he's headlining..They better stack that undercard if it's a soft touch or it better be a $20 PPV.

Come on now,there's no justification for a $75 ppv headlined by Thurman unless he's fighting Spence and Mell vs Castano is the co-main. PBC just ****ting down everyones throat and they just don't give af now.

Spence vs Ugas is supposed to be in February.

PBC has to supply Fox with X amount of PPVs a year, so Thurman's opponent isn't necessarily going to be a huge name. Thurman is too expensive for the Fox budget, but I don't see Thurman being willing to face a killer in his first fight back.

Ugas and Stanionis have agreed to fight though, so Spence will be open. However, I agree that Thurman will want a tune-up. Having a tune-up as a PPV main-event is such a bad look though.

It has to be Spencer. I mean ortiz is gonna be on ppv against Charles Martin so Thurman has to fight someone on his caliber like Spencer. Or maybe not.

If it's not Thurman vs Spence, I would only pay if it's Thurman against any young buck like Ortiz or Ennis. Otherwise, this should be free.
