Actually there are rules to that. Champions at a lower class can fight the Champion at a higher weight class....I'm pretty sure all the organizations have that rule.

Lopez isn’t a champion any more and Catterral was a mandatory who stepped aside to allow the unification fight. Taylor doesn’t have a choice about fighting him unless he wants to get stripped.

First thing Teo needs is fire his dad and get a real trainer before he blows all his money again. He also needs to fight a known contender at 140. Mikey,Ramirez,Prograis someone like this and it would need to be an impressive ko win. Teo could always give Loma a rematch unless Loma is scared

Agree with Taylor 100%. Never thought Teo had a chance against dude after seeing what he did with both Prograis and Ramirez. Teo and his Dad just talk... Taylor would have to get old over night for him to even come close to having a chance at beating him..Teo better off going after Mikey Garcia or something..

Junior's father is really out of his mind, talking like he's the dictator of boxing.
As if just because he said it that's the way it's going to be. a real nut case.
Junior's going to have to earn a title shot at 140, by fighting a few fight's.
At least betting 2 fighter's in the top 10, to take their place in the ranking's.
Let's be clear Junior didn't lose a split decision even though that's what the card's read.
Junior was unanimously, and soundly beaten, whenever Junior looks in the mirror or
see's someone starring at his battered face he will know the truth.

I would like to see Teo vs Zepeda/Pedraza either one of those would be a good test to see where he's at in the new division and if he beats them impressively that would make the fight interesting again. Zepeda a southpaw and Pedraza switches so would be a good preparation for Taylor. I agree with Taylor though after that last performance he has to earn his spot at the top again. They also need to incorporate a new trainer maybe not get rid of his dad completely but he needs a new look his combos looked repetitive and after Kambosos figured it out he had no plan B just left hook and overhand right.
