Haney fights exactly like Amir Khan

Lol you're the one who don't know wtf you're watching.. Khan bounces up and down, comes in with combinations, is extremely stiff with little head movement.. Haney literally fights nothing like that.. wtf are you even saying?Comment

Long, rangy fast 1-2-3 combo they try to get in an out but do get caught a bit on the way out. Foot movement overrated they both even tend to fall over there own feet sometimes. Both react very odd when hit like they almost panic and get all shaky. Khan hits harder and is arguably a bit faster too.
You don’t know what you’re watching if you can’t see it or maybe you just don’t want to see it. That’s most likely you the case with the ones in denial here. All good you’re not fooling me only yourselves. LolComment

Now this is a comparison that I don't see.
Amir Khan is a textbook amateur boxer.
Pure straights and jabs. All to the head. Because in amateurs, that's what scores you the most points.
After that, Khan's chin is possibly the weakest ever in boxing.Comment

Amir Khan had and probably still has faster hand speed, and better combination punch ability than Devin Haney.
I think Haney is doing well at 135 pounds, because of his range and decent enough punching power. I don't think he is a highly sophisticated fighter.
I have recently stated that, I think Kambosos Junior would beat him over 12 rounds.
Lopez, Kambosos Junior, Lomachenko are technically skill for skill the best fighters at 135 pounds. But of course Lopez is now moving up to 140 pounds.
Devin Haney will probably have a more difficult time than Lopez, moving up in my opinion. If he is getting ****** about at 135 pounds, then at 140 pounds 'He may find things extremely difficult'.

Nahh, Khan is much more offensive than Haney. Khan doesn't set up for counters, he more so bombards you with speed. Khan also fights back when he's hurt, he doesn't know how to hold. He's also much more sloppy. Khan in his prime averaged 65-70 punches per round, with like 30-40% of those punches being jabs if I remember correctly (rewatched the Peterson fight on YouTube the other days. I think they blurted similar numbers out)
Haney is more careful, and doesnt dart in. Everything is behind a jab or a set up for a counter. Much more defensive with his feet as well. And, he holds when he's hurt. He's sloppy at times, but not nearly as much as Amir. Haney doesn't throw as much either. I think he averages like 50-55 per round. About half of those are jabs if I remember correctly from compubox
Haney is more about distance and timing, and Khan is more about distance and volume. They're different in their attack and defense. Only similarity is they both rely on distance and can't really fight on the inside.
Chin may be similar, but only time will tell if Haney is truly packing glass.Comment
