As far as Paul, the Woodley rematch is probably the right fight to take if they really want to see if he can improve.
Not sure he had the right game plan in the first fight; and people were talking about if BJ Flores has taught him as much as he knows...this will test that imo. I think he should be able to come forward on Woodley, no reason to be off the backfoot all fight...
I think he tried way too hard to setup Woodely for a highlight KO, throwing big shots and gassed himself out badly. Woodley was not reacting to those incoming shots, they will be there again if he can reign things in and manage his stamina.
Paul went straight to an 8-rounder, I have to respect that...he hgassed badly but I don't think he was in all that much trouble like people are saying. His form mostly held up...overall, it was a decent club level fight.
We've got legit prospects who toil away in 4-rounders for years and nobody bats an eye. Tommy Fury fought a 4-rounder against a MMA guy who hadn't accomplish nearly as much as Woodley in their respective sports.REDEEMER likes this.
