Tank won't lose when he fights the bums he does.

Well you tell me,Tank just recently said he doesn't want to fight the best & that he has no plans on fighting anyone elite in next 2 yrs or more possibly.(he'll be closer to retirement than his prime by then) (I'll pull up exact quote)

He is happy being the man more than leaving a legacy,he enjoys everything that comes with it than he does being the best or atg,things like having women everywhere he goes, being treated like a superstar rapper in boxer form in afterpartys of his arena selling cherrypick wins(things hed lose if he loses by fighting the best)

,(other fighters like Loma didn't have the luxery of being stars from a young age though,so part of his risk taking is because of that

Floyd obviously taught him well (for better & worse)& he decided to be that way from a way younger age than Floyd & 100x more about money & btches over prestige & lasting legacy/bigger career ceiling (Tank is choosing to take the guaranteed money/cars/btches as opposed to risking it for the bigtime of being another Floyd type star.(because obviously him & Floyd expect him to keep destroying & becoming a bigger & bigger star off a brand rather than resume til eventually he'll start fighting the best at like age 30-31(selectively)

The problem with this is he might lose to a bum before that,then it all goes to waste

And after rewatching the fight Tank lost a close fight on my card 7-5 maybe 8-4 because Cruz was far more effective than Davis,its amazing how many upsets cherrypicks gone wrong there have been,& heres why Tank lost Cruz imo.

Cruz was short & stout like a pitbull,he was able to get inside with high guard & Davis is inexperienced because hes been fighting cherries,& hes not used to fighting shorter guys who can take a punch.

He cherrypicked Cruz because hes short with T rex rex arms & not a lot of power,but Cruz hurt Tank & staggered him.

Well keep in mind before the fight this is the thread I created saying that after the fight I expected everyone to do what they always do when cherrypicks go wrong:ie claiming that it wasn't a cherrypick gone wrong & in fact just was because Tank fought an elite opponent (iow lying to themselves)

People listen to the announcers way to much. What i found disgusting was the praising of the blocked shots Tank received. Also boxing is based on effective punching and Cruzs body shots effected Tank but most rarely count body shots. Lastly I think Cruz was the first guy that didnt get his head snapped back once.

Tank did great though when he played matador and fought center ring. He landed nice punches around the guard in the middle rds. After he got hurt in the body he threw some quick counters.

Cruz is as much a cherrypick as they come,BUT Davis has struggled before v worse fighters,& I can see Davis losing eventually even if its not tonight,v a cherrypick because hes getting more & more fat & lazy as time goes on imo. He looked bad vs Barrios too
