Nash is respected worldwide for his scoring and he had it 116-112 Tank. Cruz did better than expected, and that has lesser skilled scorers giving him rounds he did not win. Similar to Jacobs vs Golovkin years ago when people were scoring it for Jacobs when Golovkin won a clear 115-112. Nash out.
People had Cruz winning?

I too had it a draw 6-6. Going into the fight I thought Cruz was too wild and would caught in exchanges, but his defense was much better than he's showed in the past. Most uppercuts he picked off with the gloves, moved his head well and he landed some great bodyshots. Davis fought for the most part off the backfoot and made some adjustments. I never had the feeling he was in control of the fight and neither was Cruz for that matter, but overall it was a close fight as the compu stats demostrated.Comment

wasn't scoring, but I remember Tank had 2-3 solid rounds, but Cruz took rnds 10,11 and 12 easily. With close rounds it could've gone either way, scores were not atrocious, but we all know boxing is corrupt, so not the worst outcome for Cruz.Comment
