I don’t believe in a lot of **** that ‘money’ Mayweather believes in, mainly because I’m not a capitalist, but what I do know is that his becoming a billionaire had everything to do with him knowing how to box, how to sell his fights, what sort of persona to portray, and absolutely NOT because the media are so kindly and anti-racist that they simply gifted him riches that he actually had to earn himself.

I’ll say that this kind of insinuation sucks and sucks bad. White people that succeed in their field are never done the disservice of having one imply that their achievements are down to the beneficence of others, not their own endeavour.

P4P is so subjective. I think tank is probably on the fringes of the top 10 but it's not going to help his cause when you got Ellerbe saying he's not going to fight the top guys until they bring more money to the table.

It is what it is, he's got some decent wins but he was supposed to beat everybody he faced so far. But how do you rate somebody p4p when they won't fight the best opponents at their own weight class?

I'm not judging, they're motivated by money rather than legacy, that's fine. Just don't moan about P4P consideration when you take on a strategy like that.
