How much boxing do you watch?

I’ve been a boxing fan for about 15 years now. However I feel like I know nothing compared to many of you guys on here. Especially when it comes to fighters outside the top 10 in any division.

Tell me where you get your knowledge

I watch when greats or soon to be greats are fighting

sometimes, I’ll watch fighters who aren’t as talented

idk if Gervonta Davis will be great. But he’s entertaining outside the ring and inside. I’ll tune in for his fight

I used to watch every fight that was on going back 5 or 6 years. The politics of boxing and the mismatches kind of killed the enthusiasm I had for the sport . I basically will only watch decent match ups now or just guys who style I enjoy.

PPV also killed it. Used to be when a PPV was on it was actually something worth paying for, now it's a bunch of mismatches that would have been on HBO or showtime

Some guys have the discipline to completely watch crappy undercards

        That’s not me

          I absolutely hate mismatches.

I prefer watching competitive domestic/European level fights over an elite 1/20 matchup.

I watch way too much tbh. Regularly watch and rewatch past fights, read a lot about them too.

In terms of contemporary boxing, I tend to watch all the UK and US cards. I watch some other European cards if there’s a fighter I like or follow is on the card and I also watch the bigger Japanese cards like the NYE show and stuff like that.

I regularly go through phases of being disillusioned with the sport too but I always get ****** back in.

                Manage expectations

I score swing rounds to the bigger draw

                that just how boxing is
