All this Hatton loses to Margarito etc is pointless, Hatton has always been a 140 fighter. Hatton has fought and beat better comp at 140 than Cotto. Hattons resume>>>>>>>>Cottos resume @140
    Cottos resume>>>>>>>>>Hattons resume @147

regardless, cotto should've boxed circles around margo and taken zero damage against a margo, ala mosley.

      yep, but cotto is hattonesque.

      so did cotto lulz.

      its good but nothing spectacular

true, but cotto never fought at p4p top 5 boxer ever.

hatton style is not made to last long.
Fighting a top 5 p4p fighter doesnt exactly mean you are taking a huge risk for example if cotto fought jmm instead of clottey it wouldnt of been nearly as big of a challenge

floyd and tszyu was too early and too much for him tbh.

arum was smart not to put him in there yet.

imagine tszyu landing the right hands torres was tagging cotto with?

ricky fought a top 5 p4p fighter in his division.

ricky in fact moved up to 147 to fight floyd the current #1.

when ricky fought manny , it was at 140 and manny had in fact had fought at 147 before.

there's no comparison to what you are trying to imply.

Good call genius. Hatton spent his whole career bar like 2 fights at 140, whereas Cotto was only there for 20 odd fights. Hatton had 40+ fights at 140 and Cotto as i said only had 20+. And even with Cotto's short time at 140, the only thing that makes Hatton's run there better is his win over Tszyu and the lineal title.
