He has to get past Isaac Cruz first. And although he should, it's not a guarantee. The Pitbull's forte is coming on strong and pushing guys backward. Davis can't fight going backward. So if Davis can get him out of there in the first half of the fight, he's good. But if he can't, and for some reason Cruz can take a punch, can handle Davis' power, then it's going to be a VERY long night for Tank. That's for sure. We've had one upset already. I would not be surprised if another happens tomorrow.

Unlike a lot of people, I'm really excited for this fight because I think it will be competitive while it lasts.

Cruz Gonzalez is one my favorite fighters. He has balls. I've no doubt he'd trounce people like Commey or JoJo (and I like JoJo). Can't wait for Sunday.

He’s not even cheering pbc, he’s saying they’re avoiding big fights until the payday is higher. That’s shade if I’ve ever seen it.

I'm not so sure I'd agree with that but I respect your opinion. Let's just hope his owners Floyd and Leonard grow some balls and start to make fights like Tank v Loma instead of what we are getting.

Otherwise there is little point in saying Tank would do this or that cuz he's never actually going to prove it and usually when they would rather take lesser fights its because they don't have faith in their fighter and come out with the type of BS Ellerbe and Floyd are coming out with as a way of making excuses for why they ain't taking the tough fights.

I notice you didn’t say anything about the vile racism in that post. Of course you agree with him so this response doesn’t surprise me.

Tank brings it on himself when he says dumb **** like "Canelo is me at lightweight—facts." I mean that's just ******ed. It's delusional. When has Tank unified a division? When has Tank actually fought for a world title at another division? (A real world title!) It's this delusional rhetoric from Tank and Mayweather that I criticize. I obviously think Tank is a fantastic boxer, which is why it's frustrating watching him constantly fight B-level opposition. More so with the crazy talk.

And it has nothing to do with race either. Maybe for a few people on this forum, no doubt. But it seems that nobody can talk about any fighter without people assuming it's based on prejudice.

What I find is interesting is that the race card is played whenever someone talks about or criticizes a PBC fighter. If I praise Crawford, I'm a PBC hater. If I talk about Keyshawn Davis being a next pound for pound fighter in a years time, than I'm biased. If I say something good about Lomachenko, then I'm biased. If I say something good about Chocolatito, then I'm biased. It's a lose lose thing on these forums.

I don't like how the PBC roll because it hurts boxing when you don't try to cooperate. Haymon won't even take Hearns phone calls. It's that type of attitude and policy that is keeping boxing from being where it should be.
                Appreciate the answer.

Marketing always includes exaggerated rhetoric. Whether it’s Ali being the greatest, Floyd being TBE Etc etc.

respectfully, there seems to be something more here. Loma calls himself the Matrix. Teo the Takeover. Those are as much a lie as anything Tank calls himself. Yet no one says anything.

As for not cooperating, we all know the real reason why. Many celebrated when hbo fired Al. Cool. Now that he recovered from that and built a successful company everyone that wanted him out now wants him to work with everyone else.

In all honesty, given the facts, not the BS,If you were ceo of pbc would you work with others after how you were treated?

a paper champion with paper crowds!!
Let me understand this- you have a problem with them putting tickets on Groupon to try and sell them.

                  Why?

Every other sport promotes the fact you can get unsold tickets at a discount using certain apps.

Why would doing this be an indictment on Tank’s ability to sell?

Or the guys that don’t earn more can do with Tank exactly what Floyd did with odh- take short money for the opportunity.

Tank and his mangers don't want to be in those fights right now and they have made that very clear, they ain't even denying it. So it's all well and good saying what you do but its useless if Tank has no interest in them anyway. We all saw how quickly Leonard dismissed Josh Taylor as soon as his interest was shown. And anyway its all in house fights only. Floyds words not mine.
