Haney vs Diaz Prediction

You think? I don’t particularly rate Haney but I’ll be very impressed if he dominates Diaz. I think this is a massive step up in class for Devin. JoJo isn’t way past his best like Linares or Gamboa, this is a real test.

It’s not that I think he’s that great. It’s that posters are not being honest when it come to Haney.

Loma didn’t fight him for a reason. Ryan and Tank haven’t for a reason. His attributes make it tough for any LW. That is why they avoid him.

In this fight his attributes will allow him to avoid jojo’s strengths and dominate.

I have predicted a Zahir Raheem v Morales type fight. Let’s see if I’m right.

I personally don’t think he’s a problem for the top lightweights. I don’t think he’s anywhere near as technically skilled as some people think, he lacks pop and I think his chin is suspect. I could also be completely wrong though, only time will tell.

Havent watched much of Jojo, his reach is a lot shorter than haney, he need to get inside and break haney down. Haney is boring as hell, idk if this is the guy to rid us of him or what.

Haney is too difficult to study. Can’t sit through a fight. But I like his attitude.

Haney based his style a lot similar to floyd but he doesnt have any snap on his punches and isnt that fast, doesnt really do anything super well. He is a good boxer but I dont see him being able to move up to 140 and more he has no damn power and no amazing speed either. I dont see how he can keep larger pressure fighters off him

Rooting for Diaz but I’m picking Haney by close decision in a surprisingly decent fight where Haney gets tested again.
