What now? Or 10 years ago?

Sergio's gonna be 47 in coupla months man, and his knees ain't mairculously healed he just ain't faced anyone good enough in his comeback run to break a sweat. Even old man GGG crushes him in short order.

A younger Seregio might have made it difficult with his greater mobility but I still saw Golovkin cutting the ring and trapping him on the ropes. For all his mercurial brilliance Sergio (and I was a massive fan) has some pretty big holes in his defense and always relied too heavily on his reflexes.

If it had happened around 2012. Golovkin stops him mid to late.

If it happens now Golovkin inside 2.

Prime vs Prime, either GGG late stoppage or Martinez by a close decision.

I ain’t seen the fight but people have told me Brian Rose was unlucky not to get the decision. Even if Sergio edged it 6-4, being competitive with Brian Rose isn’t exactly a good look if you have world title ambitions.

Gayweather was scared of both of them when they were willing to come down to fight him. Gayweather was scared to go up two divisions and fight belt holders.
