Categorically false.I am critical of canelos opponents but his resume is light years better than Golovkins. It’s not even close. GGG literally got whooped his last fight and was gifted a decision and deryvchenko. GGG has literally 0 great wins on his resume. ZERO. He has held out his whole career trying to fight mayweather and canelo. First he said he’d fight anyone 154 to 168 then refused to fight ward or anyone at 168. Refused to fight deryvchenko and would only would fight mayweather at 154. This holding pattern held for years until mayweather retired. Then he would only fight canelo refused to fight anyone else with a pulse. This holding pattern has been held for years also. Meanwhile canelo has moved up in numerous divisions won titles and unified. Now going up to to cruiser. Lara mayweather cotto Mosley kovalev even plant and callum smith would probably be the best names on GGG record. He doesn’t even have one. Not even one. ZERO great wins in his whole sorry ass career.

I don't get that one. And to the third bold, I'm sure you would give him **** if he had fought any of those guys because they were naturally smaller men. But let's not act like guys were jumping at the chance to fight him back in the day, with Ward seemingly being the exception, even though there was really no window for that fight to happen.

Yeah, there’s an argument for this; some boxers are definitely content letting their ‘team’ handle all their **** without making much noise while the cash tolls in.

But as I’ve said before, a lot of boxers are, to put it kindly, not the smartest guys going, especially after a few hundred digs to the head. I reckon it would be quite easy for them to get twisted inside and out by some fast-talking, Eddie Hearn-esque serpent and persuaded for and against a variety of different clashes for some convoluted marketing reasons.

The Golovkin from 2012-2015 was a vastly different fighter than the one from 2016 and on. He started looking like **** at weigh-ins and was clearly losing a step and a lot of snap on his shots. Sanchez did him a huge disservice in the later years of their relationship. He let him blow up in weight between fights, stagnated his skills and pretty much relied on power. There's a reason why so many guys left Sanchez around that time. He was on a bad losing streak, with his guys looking horrible in the ring and very limited. Overall though, his career will be a huge what if, unfortunately.

That was a nice long rant but not relevant to my point. I said Ggg is more relevant than anyone Canelo has faced since their rematch, not that ggg’s resume or career is more relevant than Canelo’s. Ggg is more relevant than Fielding, Jacobs, Kovalev, Callum Smith, Yidilgrim, Saunders and Plant. Yes canelo has obviously done more than Ggg has since they fought but none of those opponents listed above are more relevant than Ggg and none have done more for his legacy than what ggg would’ve done had canelo actually gotten a clear win over him to get past the gift draw and controversial win.

Sorry, resumes don't win fights. Oscar couldn't even convincingly win against Sturm. He couldn't even take a Hopkins body shot, can you imagine him taking one from prime Golovkin? And they did want to fight Froch. Kessler was at 168 when Golovkin turned pro. There was also a little tournament starting in 2009 also. It's well known how ****ed over he got from Universum, which is why he ultimately left and came to the states. That's pure speculation about Pavlik and Taylor and pretty much everything else you said.
