he have the tendency to change his prediction before making it final. he said that pac-hatton will go the distance then later changed it to a KO in 3rds. these predictions hes making now might not be final

i was thinking the same thing when i first saw both titles. i assume he was just having fun with the fans about the knockout. the "ko in 10" article says he held up 10 fingers when a fan asked for a prediction, so apparently he never actually said pacquiao was going to win by knockout. and that article still mentions roach saying he doesn't think pacquiao will knock cotto out.

i wouldn't hop on board his predictions just yet. pacquiao hasn't started training yet. i think he'll change his mind once they get into training and pacquiao perfects more of his tekneeks.

Roach was probably just waving to the fan with both his hands and the fan misunderstood as a 10th-round KO prediction.

If Roach had given him the finger, the fan would probably say "Roach said Pac KO1 Cotto"
