People are really buying into the hype machine if they think Pac has a chance against PWill. The height and reach advantage alone would give him problems let alone the fact that Williams has decent handspeed himself. I think Pavlik presents the toughest challenge to Williams, especially since Mosley has gone on record to say he wouldn't want to fight Williams. Mayweather and Cotto would also get handled.

Which fighter would give Paul Williams the toughest challenge?

      -----------------------

      Shane Mosley 16%

      Kelly Pavlik 30%

      Miguel Cotto 9%

      Floyd Mayweather 16%

      Manny Pacquiao 29%
Pacman would need to sit on freedie roach's shoulders to only reach Pauls chest.

      Good luck.

Paul is too big...too fast...too strong.....

His jab is too long..and he can match floyds stamina..he has a good chin..

          He never stops throwing punches........

Floyd is not quitana..hes nota boxer-puncher southpaw.......Paul was fat and took Q lightly...

Hell beat the **** out of floyd.

wrong---he is not too big--too fast or too strong--how did you come up with this nonsense? floyd is the most crafty fighter in boxing---paul williams leaves his body open so much--floyd would have a field day with taking his stamina away form him---i don't care if paul was fat and took quitana lightly--that's his problem---i'm talking styles--paul leaves himself so open--it's crazy---floyd barely leaves himself open and paul looked a bit tired when he fought margarito where as floyd gets stronger as the fight goes on...paul does throw the jab a lot---but floyd loves throwing the straight right hand to the solarplex anmd paul does leave his solarplex exposed trying to overwhelm his opponents with his many punches--i guarantee you paul would be ****** to throw so many punches at floyd--paul doesn't effectively control the pace in later rounds of fights--he didn't do it with tony or quitana--floyd controls his pace and his oppoents pace in his fights---i bet paul would have ot change his style to fight floyd and he knws this--which is why he said it would be suicide to tryo to outbox floyd---he already knows...

paul williams would be the biggest and strongest fighter floyd has ever faced.....i seriously belivee paul could fight at 175lbs if he wanted to.

floyd is the most crafty fighter in boxing---paul williams leaves his body open so much--floyd would have a field day with taking his stamina away form him

paul williams took monster body shots from margarito...he didnt even blink...he kept throwing...floyd doesnt hit hard enought to make a diffrence in this fight....if floyd goes to pauls body hes only leaving himself open for big lefts and rights....floyd doesnt throw enough punches.....one shot to the body will do nothing when paul has returned 6 punches to ur one.

---i don't care if paul was fat and took quitana lightly--that's his problem---i'm talking styles--paul leaves himself so open--it's crazy---floyd barely leaves himself open and paul looked a bit tired when he fought margarito where as floyd gets stronger as the fight goes on..

margarito had the plaster....it starts to hardened up later in the fight.

paul threw more punches in the 12th round aginst winky then he did n the first...paul does not tire...at all...thats too many punches for floyd to cope with...not to mention pauls jab..which is entirely to long for floyd..oscar was jabbing the shtit out of floyd...now imagine pauls doube and triple jab which will throw Floyd off completly....

.paul does throw the jab a lot---but floyd loves throwing the straight right hand to the solarplex anmd paul does leave his solarplex exposed trying to overwhelm his opponents with his many punches--i guarantee you paul would be ****** to throw so many punches at floyd--paul doesn't effectively control the pace in later rounds of fights--he didn't do it with tony or quitana--floyd controls his pace and his oppoents pace in his fights---i bet paul would have ot change his style to fight floyd and he knws this--which is why he said it would be suicide to tryo to outbox floyd---he already knows...

emmanuel steward said it best...the best way to beat floyd is to not out think him..jus go for broke and throw punches.....and who betetr then paul..who will not stop throwing..who will not get tired..who has power...southpaw stance...good stamina and a good chin....and has took punches flush from harder hitting bigger fighters...paul will easily beat floyd..its a style nightmare.

I voted Floyd because that is the very style that Paul failed against at one time even though he avenged it. I think the Williams that beat Winky would still stand a good chance of dominating Floyd though.

                    Damn, no love for Miguel?

It's ironic that out of the five boxers listed above, Cotto has the most similar style to Carlos Quintana, the only man to beat Paul Williams.

Pavlik gets knocked out by paul williams if you seen pavliks last five fights he doesn't counter good when hes under attack he can't react good or fast.taylor had him until he gassed out it ain't happening to paul williams. In the other hand Pwill beats pacquiao at 147 but he has more trouble then he will against pavlik.
