The Teo Lopez loss is just another example of when letting big fights 'marinate' backfires

He has been very arrogant and spewing lots of BS towards Haney, Tank, Ruan Garcia, etc. and just assuming that the big money fights will be there. We've seen it all too often by promoters and fighters themselves with the constant ducking and claims that certain fights need more time to 'marinate'. Well, those potential big fights have long been marinated and overcooked now. They won't mean nearly as much as they would have had he stepped up to the plate and fought the best when they were available. The sad part of it all is that the commentators even alluded to Teo blowing his money on ungrateful family/friends and was literally down to less than 20k.
