I wouldn’t call Dulorme or Lipinets “bums” but they are definitely not 147lbrs. Lipinets declared he is going back to 140. Dulorme is just one of those PBC fighters who will do anything when advised in yo yo weights because Haymon must have it his way with mgmt.

Boots is really a 154 fighter barely making 147. Similar to how Haney fights 155 in the ring. Boots I suspect is 162lbs on fight night so his punch resistance let’s fight freely against most Welterweights. I remember Adames was enormous for 147, like cutting 23lbs to make weight he had to move to 154.

He looks fantastic. Until he is fighting the cream of the division it is just the eye test but you can see real quality when it's there. He should be in for a great career by the time he is done.

Honestly, I think it's fair to say that Ennis, as green as he is, would beat Floyd due to size, strength, athleticism, and equal skill-level

people try to nitpick his defense but he taking more risk to finish fighters because of the level of competition

I can point to times when Floyd was caught clean trying to finish an opponent when he was younger. Floyd ate 2 flush left hooks from Diego Corrales trying to knock him out at the beginning of one of the later rounds.
