Ok , so far a few intelligent persons have come in this thread , the most common reply was the one about my 65% - 45% typo , for those , they r next to each other it Can HAPPEN , GET OVER IT , now my purpose was to from my part accept some things will be hard for other Ricansto admit. and try to analyze fights and situations. This is obviously my opinion ,and my point of view of certain topics that are discussed in this website very poorly.With very ****ing lil knowledge and completely talking out of their ass.
1.Floyd Mayweathers record is perfect , like it or not , he is the p4p king. If he talked less and fought more , It would be undisputed. Also , he needs to stop making it bout money. Manny took over a vacant spot so to speak.He didnt take it from mayweather.
2.Mexican fighters are ****ing warriors. Some people say they have no footwork or no defense , and that might have some true (cuz there have been fighters that dont do it), but not completely (definetly one of the top schools of boxing ,mexico is) or how we say it in P.R , "cuna". They are ****ing warriors and never quit. Im not going to say nations rankings , but definetly top 3 , arguably top 1.
3.Margarito cheated. theres no question , when u say u dont know or u werent looking at what ur trainer is putting when he is wraping ur hands , u just dont have another excuse. If u are too ****** and naive to not analyze that answer he game then u should bend down in front of him.
4.This is one i dont take personally but , it gets me mad because he is one of my favorite. And u know it involves cotto.
Cotto is not on the decline. Cotto is fighting the top fighters out there. U are not always going to dominate every fighter there u fight. Clottey and margarito were 2 huge mother****ers. Margarito was being schooled the first 4 or 5 rounds, then Cotto's questionable stamina , kicked in , in combination with plaster. Now clottey, only his second fight since margarito ,was his hardest ever, Size , power , speed , defense , heart , hunger, what else did clottey have. His defense was the most effective against cotto. which was a close fight. Now in my opinion cotto won the last 3 , the first one , and 2 others, which left it tied , but he had the knocked down. which was a shame , cuz i accept he was off balance. But clottey needed to capitalize , he could have easily destroyed cotto. But Cotto is not on the decline , if anything hes just fighting better fighters than him , he is a champion. No question about that. He fights anybody they put in front of him.
4. Everybody knows Cotto's only chance of winning against paquiao lies , on what game plan pac brings fight night. I'll say pac's chances are 65% and cotto's 35%. pac has the speed to easily frustrate a puncher like cotto. is that simple. And if he opnes up that cut again , forget about it , cuz pac , throws a lot , that was clotteys problem , his work rate. Now if cotto finds a way to stop not only pac's jabs but combinations( which is not going to be easy at all) and he finds a way into that rib cage , bye bye paquiao , but it has to be consistent , not for the firt 2 rounds , and think he might have the fight.
5. Gamboa and Lopez , what can I say .
I say this fight is happening so fast , in each others careers , that any of them can loose it cuz of their mistakes , not their skill. I say gamboa has better chances. cuz he got tremendous speed and power , and his boxing abbilities , are ****ing incredible. But if he comes in thinking he can swing and leave his hands by his waist , hes crazy. Now Lopez , is hungry , I cant say more than Gamboa , but he is . He has great defense , incredible power , , quickness , and walks the ring great , my only question is his chin and sometimes his anxiety. I havent seen nobody test his chin. And he has to fight Gamboa very carefully. Caballero will be Lopez biggest "challenge" so to speak , cuz i think lopez can whoop him. But ill leave that for next topic. Now Gamboa isnt very patient himself , he has gotten dropped before , in my opinion cuz of being over-confident , he adjusted and came back to win(but not against anybody like Lopez), and i know he is a very smart fighter , thats why i give each fighter a 50-50 chance. their flaws , will tell. But Gamboa is the superior fighter. In my opinion.
6. vazquez and marquez 3?????
Great fights , awesome fights. will watch them over and over and over. But these guys are almost so evenly matched , that , thats what makes their fight what they are. I have to see what vazquez is bringing back after his layoff. but i think he might be a lil old for Lopez. Puerto ricans got good defense. And Lopez has a very good one. He will not stand there and trade that much unless he is certain that the other guy cant hurt him. These guys will do it. That's why I think Lopez's defense-power and counter punching skills abbilities combined , will make him the winner of this fight , if it were 2 happen.
5. Caballero - Lopez. wow
In my opinion , Cabballeros biggest weapons are his reach and size. when u got that kind of reach and can keep opponents away, power can be developed in the distance it takes to land those punches , but , Lopez again has good defense , is quick , knows when to counter, can bob and weave . will not let caballero take advantage of his reach , AT ALL. In my opinion Caballero doesnt stand a chance , Maybe his heart will keep him in the fight but , Lopez can ****ing hurt people. very easily , very fast. And it's proven.
6. Maliggnagi got robbed.
7. Cotto is not a hall of famer , in my eyes . I dont know who said he is.
8.Arreola , doesnt stand a chance.
9.Mosley , is already a hall of famer. And an ATG.
10.Paull williams , should take his scary attributes to another weight division.
11. the diamond belt and catchweights , are a ****ing joke.
12.Tyson would destroy kimbo
Again , these are not facts obviously , is another person's ideas and opinions , before jumping to a quick conclusion like some do here because of favoritism, nationality or whatever it could be.
