These are the fights that younger fighters need to secure on their way up! Benadivez really hasn't fought anybody and nobody wants to say it. If anything, he's just the right pick for Canelo to have a "fun" fight but this fat bastard's done next to nothing.

Younger fighters are supposed to push the older guys out of the sport and build off of those names and wins....NOT win a vacant title (such as David's done) and think they're entitled to big fights. This is where we are.

A lot of these guys need a reality check. Make the Lemiuex fight happen and keep fat boy active...both of them.

Lemieux must really need money because there's just no way in hell he can win this fight. Benevidez by brutal KO inside 6.

Gotta say, I disagree with y'all that Lemieux has no chance. I don't think he'll win, but in Benavidez he has a guy that isn't a slick boxer/mover like Saunders and isn't defensively sound like GGG. Benavidez will be there to trade punches and Lemieux has one punch KO power in both hands, whereas Benavidez gets guys out more with an accumulation of punches. Benavidez has the reach, volume, stamina, and belief that he can't be beat. Lemieux has massive power and body punching tailor made for a tall fighter like Benavidez. Plus, he needs the W to be more than a journeyman. This should be a good, entertaining scrap for as long as it lasts.

Lemieux will have no answer for the tough/skilled Benavidez

that is a total mismatch... Benavidez is MUCH better than Lemieux, no idea what his people are thinking here

Lemieux will get smacked around and stopped, Benavidez is a monster

that fight would be the end of the line for Pepe Le Pew

I'm befuddled by all the hype Benavidez gets and I also believe that his power is very overrated. .

I laid out my case for Lemieux having a chance. If this fight actually happens, we'll get our answer.

Thanks, dog. I don't bet, though. Gets in the way of me being able to enjoy fights to the maximum.
