Every huge underdog fighter states they are going to win and shock the world in the blatant mismatch. This article reaffirms the obvious - Pbc will continue to follow the formula and put Davis in against b-level overmatched Hispanic fighters to draw the huge latino fanbase - especially on the west coast. Cant have a black or white fighter in the opposite corner - fight/ppv just wont sell. Davis has the elite skills and is a rich kid - but obviously has zero ambition of greatness or actually making a top 10 p4p list.
Promoters block fights. People should stop placing the blame on one person. If Loma or Lopez wants a Davis fight, let their promoters make a public offer to Mayweather Promotions, not even Haymon. Add Taylor to that list. They all have one thing in common: Top Rank.

Greatness is watered down these days. Canelo winning all those corrupt belts didn't wow me at all. It didn't raise my opinion of him one bit. Instead, I question all this weight jumping for another bogus belt dictated by the biggest crook in boxing, Sulaiman. I'm a Canelo fan. P4P is a joke.

I find it interesting that the general Mexican mindset in boxing is courage based, while the general American mindset is skill based. Everyone knows Mexicans fight with a lot of courage, even when the skills aren't there. And a lot of Americans focus on trying to be slick, but don't always fight with as much courage. When u get an American boxer with courage that matches his skill, it's a beautiful thing to see. Like a James ToneyComment
