Porter was also the WBC world champion who lifted it off Danny Garcia and beat Ugas. He was an active fighter, as he fought in May and then a few months later fought Spence in September.

The Porter that fought Bud, however, was not a world champion, had several losses, and was coming off a 14 month layoff. Even though Bud stopped Porter, he certainly didn't look better than Spence did.

I have been critical of Crawford's opposition for a while but if you can't give the man his props after a statement win like that, it says more about you than him. He has now EARNED his stripes imo and shown he is as good as advertised.
