I felt so bad for Shawn, he put on another helluva performance and he immediately threw him under the bus.

As far as the stoppage, I'ma give him the benefit of doubt since that's his son and maybe saw something, it is his son.

But what he said should have been at the press conference not immediately after the fight in front of all those fans

I don’t think Shawn minded all that much. He seemed far more upset with himself than what his Dad was saying. He had a De La Hoya-Hopkins moment after the 2nd KD

I didn't like it either but I heard another interview with Shawn afterwards and he admitted he did not go all out as he usually does in camp since he wanted to save it for the fight. Look man, he's 34 years old with two kids, has been boxing since he was like six years old and has so many other gigs outside of boxing. Kenny was expecting the 24 year old Shawn in camp but priorities change and life happens. But he still could have not made this public to the world. Shawn is not the first boxer train less harder in his 30s opposed to when he was starting out.

I mean even a Shawn that supposedly did not have a great camp was almost even with a top 3 or so P4P fighter so that's pretty dang good if you ask me lol.
