I know that he used to be involved with the USA amateur set up and Olympic team and whatnot, but I don’t know if that was before Shawn Porter started in boxing.

He always struck me as the kind of person that goes to their sons sports team games and weasels their way into the training set up.

I’ve never been able to find out much about his background.

It was a great stoppage. We all knew what was coming next. Ending the same way every Crawford fight does, Shawn has a beautiful family and broadcasting career ahead of him. It would have been a shame to throw that out the door.

I think too many people are taking what he said out of context. He was pretty much saying “I was planning on stopping it before the fight started if Shawn was in this predicament” As much I rooted for Shawn, he was about to get KO anyways even if Kenny didn’t stop it. I think since the Spence fight, Shawn has been losing passion for competing in the sport
