Anyone can be killed in a street fight homey. People fight to hurt each other, not slightly irritate each other. In a street fight where people agreed beforehand to only use fists, maybe Floyd's defense would be useful, but how likely is that? You're gonna get kicked, pushed, butted, mobbed by more than one person, smacked with anything someone can lay their hands on. I mean, sure, try shoulder-rolling a bottle flying at your head from behind. Good luck on that one.

I have never been a 'street fight' that remained just one on one, lol. not too uncommon for blunt objects to get thrown in there either.

anyways, on the offhand chance that its a one on one fist fight, sure it can be effective. shoulder roll the right hand off with your left shoulder, then counter with a short right hand in that same rolling motion. well, its a lot easier to say it than to do it lol, but yea that would work. one bare fist shot would be all that it would take.

Its rare for people to throw body shots in a street fight, so youd probably be better served to keep both your hands up than to do the little Mayweather left hand covering the body thing.
although on the other hand, you might to keep that left hand down there to protect your balls. very good choice, actually.
