How Do You Train Dirty Fighting

No sparring partner wants to go rounds with a guy who headbutts and elbows

As soon as I read dirty fighting, Porter was the first to come to mind. I'll stick with him.

Some vets respond to that in kind, not in anger, but as a part of the session. If you headbutt someone like Crawford, I wouldn't rule out a little low blow or two in same or another round, out of the view of the ref. Bud is too tough for someone like Porter to beat him.

Maybe that's why Porter is praising Davis. Vet tactics.

Most elite fighters train for dirty tactics. Crawford has a little something for Porter.

I respect dirty boxing... Well when it's done with subtlety. It takes boxing IQ to do it and get away with it.

I guess I respect it when it's done to frustrate your opponent who has superior skills. Sometimes you have to play your cards right.

My bad for going off topic lol

            Respect dirty boxing

            I do too

one can’t be a “complete fighter” without some dirty fighting game

Floyd for example had an excellent offense that included dirty boxing

Isaac Cruz Gonzalez embodies similar style to Porter, but with more punches. That's why I wouldn't be surprised if the Davis fight is dirty.

Loma might have won the Salido fight if he knew how to respond to dirty fighting. Now he's an expert.

LMAO. uhhh. headgear clashing in sparring is PERFECT for training for such... unless of course you think FG5000's feel the same skin to skin.
