Here’s WBA regular champ Butaev had to say about VADA for all the haters out there

“I was very angry,” Butaev told BoxingScene.com regarding the Bes***** PED ordeal. “You can see it even in the fight, you could see that I was angry. That fight also got rescheduled because we were demanding VADA testing for that fight, and they wouldn’t accept it. And then, at the end of the day, I had to pay for both sides for the VADA testing to keep going with the fight. Of course I was pissed because boxing took my friend, Max Dadashev, who died in the ring. We will never know the reason he died, but who knows what the other guy was taking? No one knows because there is not enough testing.

“That’s why for our fights we are always demanding VADA. For this fight [against James], we said there is no fight if there is no VADA testing. I think that every respectful fighter, every athlete, to be fair and square, has to go clean to respect the sport and to respect their opponents and everything. That’s why we always try to prevent [PED use]. Even though people are always finding ways to cheat, we always try to be with VADA because we really trust that they are the most respectful organization for monitoring the doping. For us, to work with them is an honor.”

By Keith Idec - LAS VEGAS – Maxim Dadashev’s death often reminds Radzhab Butaev that this is an extremely dangerous, unforgiving vocation he has chosen. Honoring his friend and amateur teammate’s memory also is part of what drives Butaev to demand the most stringent testing for performance-enhancing drugs before and after all of his fights. If his opponent isn’t willing to submit to random testing by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, Butaev won’t sign a contract.

I jumped on team Fury after the first Wilder fight ( I respect how he praises Christ ).
But I gotta admit. It don't look good off of what you posted.
Yeah Tyson was applying for his license that has to be renewed every year because he didn’t have a license after 2 years out. the old investigation was no longer pending until he renewed the license. Tyson was going to sue the UK anti-doping agency, And with the British board of control it was going to be a long drawn out process to start the investigation again, so they just basically agreed to some backdated ban which had absolutely no bearing on anything.

They didn’t really have much on the Fury’s, That’s why Hughie Fury who was part of the same investigation never served a ban and always remained active.

Nothing was ever really proven, The backdated ban was really just to save a lot of headaches and give Tyson his license back straight away.

Of course they were , and of course they are now.

You have doctors out there who will openly admit to being able to beat the testing and be ahead of the testing. So I imagine if you’re an athlete with enough money to use these top people, then it probably happens.

The ones that get caught either probably don’t have the money to get around it using the best people or it gets mistimed badly are there is a mistake.

First time the testers went to Mexico they busted Canelo. Does anybody really believe that it’s a coincidence that it happened the first time they crossed the border unexpectedly to do tests? Come on

all the top boxers are probably at it now, not just in the 90’s.

          almost.
It certainly erases any doubts for his 4 fights in the last 12 months in any case.

            Got it. Thanks.
            LIke I mentioned earlier.
            I'm a Fan of Fury.
But that whole PED / backdated suspension / Bore's meat excuse sounds fishy.

By the way. Why did they come up with the bore's meat excuse if they didn't piss hot ?

I have no idea, the whole saga lacked clarity really, there was no news of any B samples which is usually standard practice. There was never really much more said about it and Hughie Fury just carried on fighting as normal, so nobody really knows.

Similar happened with Dillian Whyte I think. He supposedly failed a test before the Rivas fight, then the fight went ahead and no news of a B sample and the case disappeared.

The weirdest part about the Fury’s failed tests was that it was supposedly before the Hammer fight in early 2015, but the UK anti doping agency never made them aware of it until a year later in 2016. I have no one idea how it took a year to reveal failed test results. During that time, Tyson fought Wlad and had tests that were clean.

Eric Molina failed a test in the UK and that also didn’t come to light until a year later.

So I think the testing in the UK is obviously a bit of a **** show and nobody knows what’s genuine and what isn’t.

Andrade just fought with his criminal PED dealer sitting ringside and there was no VADA testing in this fight but people had nothing to say about that and instead somehow complain about Canelo who's doing more testing than anyone. Your opinion is worth dirt if you're a hypocrite who doesn't keep the same energy for the majority of fighters who aren't testing consistently or at all.

Whyte's situation involved fishy stuff with the gloves along with the PED's if I remember correctly.

But thanks for the feedback. Enjoy the fights tonight.
