Cotto was made to play the bad guy? Lets be real here, since when has Cotto talked this much? Wasn't only during the confrence, even before the fight was even signed.

Well I think the reason why he's talking a bit more now is because he doesn't want to be taken lightly.
    He knows he's the underdog.

Don't know about you Mangler but when I watched Clottey vs Cotto...I don't think Cotto saw Clottey in that ring, I believe he saw Margarito. I may be alone in this but I saw Margarito/ Cotto flashbacks. Margarito may have taken something from Cotto. Saying this because, although we shouldn't base Pacquiao vs Cotto because of what Clottey was able to do, due to Clottey and Pacquiao being two completely different fighters, I think Margarito took something from Cotto. That is why the Clottey vs Cotto fight is still too fresh in my mind.

I saw it the same way man. Cotto and Margs took something from each other that night.

All of that is wishfull thinkig from a hater!!!!!

Cotto had hsi problems with Clottey no doubt, but he delt well with them, adjusted and won a close fight.

Don t you think if he was affected from teh Margarito, then he cured himself fighting Clottey?

I mean he went trough a similar thing but this time, he pulled it out. So maybe he have more confidence now, that he can win nasty, close fights and that he can survive.

Clottey set the same kinda Marg pressure wit his feet in terms of movin in on Cotto at all times. But eh ain't set the same pressure wit his hands in terms of lettin flurries go. Clottey wit a higher workrate woulda won that fight. And to his credit, Cotto did fight wit a bad cut 3/4 of the fight. He ain't take the kinda punishment from Clottey he took from Marg, it was just a tough fight. If he did, I'd agree gettin beaten like that in 2 of 3 fights would ruin him. Cotto ain't this battered shell of himself cats keep makin him out to be. Pac destroyin Hatton and DLH got nothin to do wit how he'd do against Cotto at WW. People seem to forget that, and Cotto seems irritated by it.

I think Cotto just wants everyone to know he's here. Pac this and Manny that, he is the underdog vs the smaller man. He might be a little pissed off by how it got handled, maybe he thinks Pac got whatever he wanted, his belt and everything.
