Asking because I see some rtard making a thread insinuating that Canelo fighting Makabu is more impressive than Usyk dethroning Anthony Joshua.

That wasn’t a thread that was you attempting to stick your tongue as far up Clenelos ass as possible.

You have to look at the journey both men have taken.
It's rare for a relatively short SWW to find success at such a high weight.

Is Usyk a better fighter than Canelo...sure....but that doesn't mean Joshua was a better opponent than Makabu. AJ was a disaster waiting to happen and any genuine contender unwilling to be bought off by Matchroom was always going to knock him out. Makabu is probably the least dangerous of the cruisers...but he still has some advantages that might make him competitive. Canelo looking to match Mannys titles so I expect him to fight Oscar Rivas for the bridgerweight title next September.

great fighter vs no name Can in a CW is not as impressive as a great fighter going up and beating a top-level guy at his weight.

Canelo could have done so much better than pick this guy, he would never have challenged Ursk at CW while he was champ, it's only about collecting a Cruiser strap to say he did, Id be all for it if it was against a quality guy but this fella is a nobody.
