How can anyone say that ****** ****?? The man is ready for WAR and he said he is ready to DIE in the ring if he has too. I hope it was not a Mexican that started that thread. Believe me he is going to give Floyd all he can handle. The dude is trying to become the best Mexican fighter that ever lived and he is just not going to bend over and take it in the ass!!!!! is a good poster and usally i agree with a lot of shyt he posts....but that was just dumb....Nothing i mean absolutley nothing about Marquez makes me believe that he is fighting May strictly for the greenbacks....
JMM fights for himself family and Mexico... with money in there somewhere in between 1 of those...but deffinetley not at the top of the list...imo ....he's a proud man and would not take a beating in front of thousands of his countrymen soley to cash a check...you better believe JMM is coming to win...however out gunned or written off...stay tuned...wilder things have happened.

i would say making multi million dollar checks deffinetely conrtibutes to a fighters hunger but....JMM is a smart dude...he could make money in other ways then getting blugned in the face....explain other boxers that come from middle class families with good education that still fight for much less.
less then 1% of boxers ever get to make the kind of money the elite make.Comment

there's no doubt, he's fighting for more than a check. marquez knows this is a huge chance, and he knows what a victory over mayweather would mean for him - economically and for his reputation/career. it's definitely, without a doubt, deeper than a check goes. ^_^Comment
