Must’ve been a typo cause Whyte wasn’t no damn mandatory for 1000 days. That’s was (Mis) Matchroom marketing propaganda.

I followed Fury for a longgg time and through some dire fights. He needs to fight Whyte, he needs to fight a mandatory he just looks bad otherwise.
This generates cash in the UK its a ppv stadium fight .. what else has he got to do, they could even ship it to the middle east .. if it's another Pianetta fight .. I'm out.
Why wouldn't he fight Whyte there's money there, no broadcaster issue just ppv it on BT in the UK, ESPN US, he said he would, he'll look real bad in the UK if he fights some American no hoper.

Yeah, they conveniently forget Whyte lost that status when he lost to Povetkin

the WBC Said a while ago that winning the rematch doesn’t automatically put you straight back into mandatory position. It’s down to their discretion when they call the mandatory.

Expect Fury to announce his voluntary defense very soon, just in case if the arbitrator hurries up and orders something he doesn't like...
Oh, and it won't be Whyte.
