Hopkins just pwnt him, it had nothing to do with the weight. If I wanted, I could blame it on Pavlik being sick...but that would be ******.

I saw no difference in those two fights and his most recent fight against that Ornelas or whatever Mexican fellow, which was at 160lbs.

i hate to bring up Pacquiao again, but its just so convenient. the guy has been weighing 148 since he was at 130. hes still fighting at that weight today, because thats what he weighed against Hatton on the night of the fight.
he didnt look any slower to me...what do you think?
    Pacquiao has looked better.

But just because 1 guy does it doesn't mean everyone can do it.

Marquez is also 36, he's got 6 years on Pacquiao at a time where there ain't much time left.

It's not asif Marquez hasn't been hit alot in his career.

He was hurt by a 45% KO ratio in Diaz, a guy who I thought lost to Malignaggi in his last fight.

Floyds highest fighting weight is alot higher than Marquez's highest fighting weight.

Differense is, The Favourite is going UP, taking a bigger challenge.

If Pacquiao went down and fought Robert Guerrero then the would be alot more **** going down in here.

I wish everybody would just shut up about it until it finally had happened. All this is getting too much. There is no point in making assumptions until we see the actual fight. Youre all behaving as tho it has already taken place!

Why isn't Mayweather fighting Mosley or Cotto?

          There's your answer.

          This is a Tune-up, not a Superfight.

Because Marquez wanted to fight him and is just as good as the other two. Happy?

Paul Williams did it pretty easily. even someone like Guerillimo Jones jumped from 154lbs and is now a Cruiserweight alphabet belt champ. ha not everyone is like him though.

I dont really get how you can say Pacquiao has looked much better, the guy is coming off two of the most dominant big wins of his career lol. maybe he has looked better, but he sure as hell didnt look much worse, which was the whole point.

and you get caught and hurt sometimes, it happens. Calzaghe got dropped hard by a mediocre Kabary Salem, doesnt mean he would get KOed at 175. its just part of boxing. yea, I had to bring up Calzaghe, sorry. it was your screenname that did it.

lol, right here you gave yourself away.

listen, its not about who wins or who loses or who gets credit for blah blah blah.

just enjoy the fight. when you get two skilled fighters in the ring, its gonna be worth watching, regardless of the size differential...which isnt that much in the first place.

Sorry, I didn't finish the sentence, I meant Pacquiao has looked BETTER "at the higher weights".

But it doesn't mean Marquez can do the same.

When De la Hoya fought Pacquiao it was a disgrace, but atleast he decided to go down to a weight he hadn't fought at in 9 years, so he wouldn't be at his best, but Mayweather won't even go down to 140, which he should be able to do considering most people here think hatton is a bigger guy than him.

Why didn't Mayweather want to fight him at 140?

Now THAT would be closer to a superfight.
