Benavidez destroys all the opposition Nelo faced at 168, the Euro guys and Caleb.

David is not stiff like Smith or Fielding or a light punching dude like Caleb. He's himself a complete package but younger bigger like I said.

Not saying DB beats 100% Nelo but it's a very tough competitive fight IMO
Where has this BS come from that David has a granite chin? Last I checked he got dropped by a feather fisted euro bum? When Davis takes flush shots from a proven hitter like GGg and keeps walking then we’ll talk but so far David has not show a granite chin especially facing these C level bums with zero power.

Also how about proving David can beat the guys Canelo beat? How about that instead of just making an ass at yourself and be like “Davis beat them too”.

I can say Canelo would beat every single HW Wilder beat but it DONT meant ****t if he hasn’t done it.

I don’t know. I read a lot of comments here. I watched this fight very carefully with David. He has a lot of talent & skill. I’m just curious how he would fair going into deeper waters, the later rounds with Canelo who is also a good counter puncher, inside fighter, and body puncher with power in both hands. It would be a very interesting fight. I did notice something, David throws a lot of caution to the wind just walking forward unprotected & sometimes with his hands down. With an experienced fighter that is crafty and sets traps, he could get caught with a big shot. Not sure how tested his chin is either with a big puncher like Canelo. Canelo went the distance with GGG twice, Jacobs, and other big punchers so we know his chin is battle tested. I really like David in that fight and his offense but his defense was suspect tonight so now I’m leaning towards Canelo. I don’t know, I hope that fight gets made.

If Canelo fights Charlo next he's Ducking Benavidez.

Another hand picked 2nd rate fighter coming up in weight with hardly any Ko's, Benavidez and his team aren't fooling anyone, he's NOT getting Canelo...

I actually think Benavides has good defense for the style he employs. I know it looks like he’s just marching forward but David picks off a lot of shots too.

The million dollar question is in the following scenario:

Benavides presses forward like usual and Canelo lands a big left hook to the body. One of two things happen:

              1. Benavides smiles, taps his gut and opens up with a multi-punch combination

              2. He stops in his tracks or backs off to gather himself

If #1 happens a few times then Canelo is in trouble and vice versa for Benavides if #2 happens

Well he can only fight one of them next so would he then be ducking Charlo if he picks Benavides?

So is he ducking Charlo if he fights Benavides next? And wouldn’t it be a lot easier if Charlo and Benavides fought next to clear things up?

It wouldn't hurt Benavidez to bring a nutritionist on board.
