Imagine if GGG let go and bulked up for 175 under Freddie Roach. This guy's physique is a beast. It's probably why he couldn't hurt Canelo because his real power was always at higher weights...sparring HW's in the gym said Sanchez... tsk tsk

Seeing how he is 5'10". He could realistically walk around ~205lbs and be relatively fit.

But how much of a disadvantage or advantage would he have at Light Heavy-Cruiserweight? Probably very little advantage if any.

His greatest attribute (power) would probably get nullified at that weight. Where those guys will come in 200 but then come to fight 230 because they are 6ft+. Usyk is 6'3" for example, can hold a lot more weight on his body. While GGG will probably come to fight at his walk around weight, ~205lbs.

So, maybe 175 at the most? I couldn't say tbh. It's all about advantages and most boxers refuse to give up any of their advantages. (ex: Nakatani who is as tall as the Charlos. But rather drain himself to 135.)

He isn't that big a MW. He's made 160 for over 15 years as a pro. If he was naturally huge he couldn't do that. He's never come close to missing weight AFAIK.

Genuinely big MW's, Barkley, Nunn, Eubank etc don't hang around at 160 for 15 years. They simply can't do it.

They say GGG was 173 against Rubio… That rehydration was like Canelo from 152 to 165 on fight night for Floyd. As we hear the narrative, some fighters bring their power to higher weights, but it’s really a misconception when fans don’t know about draining. If GGG didn’t worry about cutting weight for 160 then imagine had he competed at 168? It means only cutting 5lbs of water in the Rubio fight instead of 13lbs. At the end of the day, imagine any other Olympic sport when let’s a sprinter like Hussain Bolt cute 13lbs the day before. LolZ. Makes no sense because it’s not boxing, and the Nigerian would probably make last place in the race the next day.

Jesus fans like you don’t have a clue. Why do you bring up theory? Look at the damn pic with Canelo. These guys are like 180lbs each in that presser. GGG looks like a Soviet titan with that build. Or you want to say he’s fat in that pic? Lol GGG doesn’t look like no small Middleweight. Where do you guys get this stuff? Just because Jacobs drained 20lbs against GGG and Canelo doesn’t mean GGG is small. Lol. Small middleweights would be the era of Middleweights not worrying about today’s drain standards. GGG would look massive compared to Hagler.

              173 is about right for a MW with a near 36 hour day-before weigh-in.

I bet he could easily make 160 for a same-day weigh in and probably rehydrate to 165-70. He's not a huge MW by any measure.

Haha shut up you clown, you clearly haven't seen a big MW in your life. Stay in your bedroom jerking off or stop talking ****. I put GGG next to Barkley or Nunn and then you'll see who is a big MW.

Of course they are 180 pounds you idiot that's what most pro MW fighters would cut to make their weight. Errol Spence walks around 180 and he's a ****in WW. Jarret Hurd walks around 190 and he's a LMW.

Try and learn something about boxing before you run your dumb mouth any more.

GGG was fighting four times a year and was still draining for 160. It means his metabolic rate still can’t help him if he needs to add 13lbs from the weigh in. Look at Canelo fighting 4 times a year. He’s already filled at the weigh in and looking the same on fight night whereas as GGG looked like an Olympic Swimmer at weigh ins but then all slouched back filled on fight night.

the point is this guy exploited Bhop and Hagler’s run because Sanchez and Loeffler sold that idea to HBO and that was the expectation whereas GGG could’ve sought greatness at 168 and fight Ward.

Nigeria would probably love to claim Bolt, but unfortunately for them, Usain is Jamaican.
