He is a solid boxer, but I don't get the hype or people trying to act like he is on some all time great run. Caleb Plant and Billy Joe Saunders are no hall of fame boxers or all time greats, Golovkin is not all time great boxer. So who are all these great boxers he has defeated that makes him this certified all time great? I think he is a top boxer as of now yes, but why are people comparing him to certified legends in the sport?

Canelo's a great fighter and definitely number one on the current P4P list but he doesn't have any prime ATG's on his resume. Which is exactly why he comes up short on the "greatest Mexican fighter of all times" discussions.
