They are on the same side of the street. Should be an easy fight to make.
Why haven't Golovkin and Andrade unified at 160?

High risk, low reward for both. GGG is older, he probably wants 1-2 more big fights. Andrade wants a big payday as well. They fight each other, and one of them will have their chance at a payday eliminated
Plus, there's no real public interest it looks likeComment

A Golovkin fight would bring Andrade the biggest payday of his career, surely? Why wouldn't he want it?
There's got to be more public interest for this than for Steve Rolls, Kamil Szeremeta, and Murata?Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 11-09-2021, 04:24 PM.Comment

OP poses a good question, but particularly why the Kazakh and Rhode Island guy haven’t fought each other…
GGG is A Side. If there was any insecurity from his team then they could easily just impose a rematch clause the way AJ does. It’s not complicated, GGG is also co-promoted by Hearn…
The problem is that DAZN would have to have paid GGG his high premium for Andrade which they fought could be a stinker if Boo Boo hardly engaged and ran around. Then what did DAZN get out of that to boost GGG’s profile if he can’t KO Andrade? Assume a dull fight with combined purses of $20mil for both since 2019.
at this point who cares. This generation have called it quits and it’s best we focus on the king of boxing fight Benavidez, Charlo, Bivol, Beterbiev…
let the 160 drainers do their boring thingsComment

Golovkin is going to Japan to fight Murata in their NYE show in front of 55,000 die hard fans.
If you're going to unify, do you want to do that? or fight BooBoo in front of 15 people, 8 of which are BooBoo's family and 3 are judges.
EDIT - I was originally joking, but then I opened this thread next. https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/b...-at-snhu-arena
