    yes

I gain 4 lbs after a decent sized meal and a drink.
we are talking about athletes not couch potatoes.

weve established that Mayweather is the bigger guy, but its not a gargantuam size advantage. he will be about 6lbs more than Marquez on fight night, at most.
yes, but jmm will be 2 divisions above his current fighting weight. imho, jmm was his most effective at 130 lbs!

you see that much of a size differential in a good deal of fights nowadays.
yeah, but usually those fighters occupy the same division.

pacquiao DEMOLISHES the current marquez at 144
lol, its nice to say that now, but lets go back in time.

Marquez vs Pacquiao 2 just happened. they both have only fought as high as 130lbs.

a good deal of people would have said that Pacquiao would have been crushed by Hatton
most people would have said that Pacquiao would have been crushed by DLH(which they did)
most people would have thought that Pacquiao vs. Cotto would have been an 'unfair' fight and wouldh have refused to discuss it.

case and point, boxing fans do know **** about moving up in weight. you cant say anything until it actually happens. fact is, Pacquiao and Marquez are on even terms, although I will agree that Pacquiao carries weight better than Marquez.

luckily for Marquez, hes fighting someone whos smaller than who Pacquiao is fighting.

Yeah that is true... But you gotta take in consideration Marquez is only gettin older.. So if Floyd Mayweather contacts you for a fight, "YOU DONT TURN THAT **** DOWN"

Pacquiao and Marquez were evenly matched when they fought, and Pacquiao has already jumped 2 weight divisions and been flat out dominant so far. same thing.
4lbs is not a big deal, Mayweather and Marquez will weigh within 6lbs of each other on fight night, which happens all the time in normal fights between guys in the same weight class.

Ill give you that Marquez is at a disadvantage, but holy **** you guys are exaggerating it.
I dont give a damn about Mayweather getting 'credit' for the win or anything, I just want yall to enjoy it and appreciate the amount of skill that will be showcased in the fight.

Pac has proved he looked perfect at 140...so 145 is possible, also we saw him against oscar at 147 (dead oscar but still)

JMM aint faught past 135....and didnt look fantastic at that weight either...

lets go back. pac was a bum with 2 KO loses at 115 pounds... SO?

we're talking present here. marquez struggled against an old great that almost lost to katsidis and had to rob a decision before that. while he did that, paz was demolishing people higher up

did he fight OLDH? yes, but that 130 pounder did to him what nobody had done to him in his entire career

there's no way to say that the gap between marquez and pac at WW is close

i agree. Smaller doesnt mean you automatically gonna lose. lol ! I think the biggest b!tch about fight...{i know for me is} Is that JMM is in uncharted waters. I dont think we would be having this discussion if he has proven himself in the higher weight classes.

i said carried and improved, not changed. he's basically the same guy with much more power, fighting much slower people because he's as fast as he was before

if they ever fight a rubber match at JWW or a WW catchweight, marquez would get obliterated
