doesn't matter how much he weighs or your fat ass weighs ..the kid knows how to fight and he'd bodybag you in 30 seconds

While you were accumulating the weight he was gaining experience in throwing hands...
Youd do whatever he said if it meant he'd stop beating on you and I mean anything

pretty much he is a knock out waiting to happen but he can beat certain fighters who cant over come his lack of intangibles.
I think getting up and ko"ing Campbell after getting dropped like a sack of potatoes displayed some of those "intangibles" you say he lacks didn't it? He could've easily coward and found a way out but he fought back and closed the show with a tremendous body shot. I do agree that he seems to lack the dedication but the skill is there. I might be in the minority but I think with his skill, size, speed and power he can beat anyone around his weight class on any given day,I'd actually favor him over the other "kings".

Good post and I agree..I don't like how he bitched out of an upcoming fight but fury did the same thing for the wladimir rematch and some idiots think he's better than a prime Ali..the same idiots that think garcia has no heart

Going down against Campbell was a great excuse to quit but he got up and put campbell into a retirement home

I don't remember Canelo saying anything about "inspiration" -

seems to me Ryan chose that word deliberately to avoid addressing what Canelo was really saying.

Like mentioned above - seeing him get up from the Campbell knockdown and going right back at him was legitimately exciting; i'm not yet a fan of his and I got out of my seat for that sequence. The dedication Canelo is speaking about would maybe prevent such a hard knockdown. He showed there's a fighter inside of him with how he reacted but the point is that he could have been out cold.

Thanks...having family members that suffer from anxiety and depression,I can understand him pulling out of the Fortuna fight if that was the case. They're serious mental illnesses that one cant just "suck it up" and get over as many here suggests, they can be debilitating. Not much he could do about breaking a bone in his hand but its unfortunate as both that and the Fortuna fight were fights where he really could've made a statement.

I called this before on here a while back. you wont see garcia in a notable fight ever again, hes achieved everything he wanted to in the sport which is why he was so emotional after beating campbell. hes got his name out there and now he wants to focus on his main passion which is social media and youtube. he wants to be just like his heroes the paul brothers , hes even started getting tattoos like jake.

I don't agree with ducking out of fights with mental illnesses like depression...garcia and fury have nothing to be depressed about they really do need to suck it up

if we give into this and say that fighters coming back from a blatant duck like fury spmehow makes a comeback afterwards some sort of great achievement
                  And enhances their legacy

All fighters have mental health issues but they suck it up get in the ring and take their licks or get the w

Before anyone attacks me if someone has real depression you won't hear them talk about it they'll just be gone one day the rest are just attention seekers, when I hear someone takes their life its sad but when you hear people threatening they're going to take their own life and never do that's just pathetic

I don't even know what you look like but I guarantee he would be more than capable of putting you down and sustaining a beating on you and then reading a newspaper whilst taking a **** on your head afterward
