I don’t think Canelo fights Morrell. That’s just awkward with splits to begin with and PBC is the type to not care and force the purse bid which, not only does a guy with a record of 5 wins 4 KO’s look bad as a marquee promotion compares to Canelo’s record, but it also sounds horrible if Lennon Jr. or Buffer yells out “with a record of 5 wins 4 by KO..”at the MGM. Lol.

the LDBC have been clammering hard for Charlo and Benavidez for Canelo so those fights might happen with whatever belts are on the line at the time. A Charlo fight at Cowboys Stadium would give Canelo that Plant style purse. Everybody talking about Benavidez so that too could be a $40mil purse. Depends if Haymon/Showtime can afford to show Canelo against such guys not having belts but fighting Canelo. At the end of the day, those options are former Champions and all staged at 168, so we it adds to Canelo’s resume

As the cash cow of the sport he has the clout to keep these alphabet orgs from not messing with him and working with him if he wants to keep them. They know they’ll make more from a sanctioning fee from Canelo then any other fighter even if they have to wait.
The WBC tried to pull some slick **** with Canelo and he sonned them and they came crawling back and bent the knee.
If he needs to drop one to make his fights he will though. He’s undisputed already so he achieved his goal.

Canelo proved his point, he unified the division. Nobody gives a shi.t about him fighting Zach Parker, lol.

He should stay at 168, maybe drop 1 belt or two belts and fight Benavidez or Charlo. Or move up to 175.

He’s won them all now, if they’re going to give him rubbish mandatories like Zach Parker, then I see no problem dropping belts in favour of bigger fights.
