Marcos Maidana Update

Maidana was a special guest in attendance to the “KO to Drugs Festival” held in Panama City and had the chance to meet with WBA officials and the Golden Boy, who told the Argentinean: “We are working hard to get you back on an HBO date in November. HBO is eager to see you on their screen again.” Both Universum and Golden Boy Promotions are working to put Maidana on November 28 in Quebec, Canada, and there are good chances that his rival would be former champ Kendall Holt. “After I beat Victor Ortiz last June I cannot wait to fight again on HBO with Oscar promoting,” Maidana said.

Maidana turned down a rematch with Ortiz that he would of gotten more money then the Holt fight... Can't blame him though
