Comments Thread For: Jake Paul On Tommy Fury: I See A Green Guy Only Put In With Opponents Meant To Lose

LAS VEGAS - Jake Paul acknowledged Saturday that Tommy Fury comes from a reputable fighting family. Paul still doesn't think Tyson Fury's younger half-brother has the vast experience in boxing that his upcoming opponent would like people to believe. Despite that Paul has only four professional fights on his own record, Fury's inexperience is one of the primary advantages Paul feels he'll have in their eight-round cruiserweight fight December 18 at AMALIE Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Fury doesn’t know how to use his distance and he is wide open to right hands. Paul can make boxing look pretty bad here if he wins because casuals don’t know Tommy is complete shit.

Paul isn't any better, he closes his eyes and turns his head when he punches. It's gonna be a boring mess and they putting it on PPV, Showtime has no standards when it comes to Boxing anymore. Honestly looks like HBO made the right decision to get out of the sport when they did. Showtime has gotten so desperate it has been quite sad to see.

Tommy might be called Fury but he's certainly no Tyson.

Tyron Woodley was considered a legit threat.

To be fair, Isn’t that the case with most fighters who only had a few fights? in with guys there to lose.

Boots Ennis is arguably the next big thing and was still fighting guys with more losses than wins in his 14th fight, so there’s nothing really wrong with who Tommy Fury has fought up until now. Just pretty standard practice.

Whether he will turn out any good or not remains to be seen, but his resume up until this point is not really a talking point either way.

Not at all when you look at it. He was on a 4 fight skid in MMA, traditionally a wrestler, the smaller man who had never boxed a round in his life, and 40 years old.

Uh? But this is the first time Paul has fought someone who is an actual boxer lol Also hasn't everyone else been a lot lighter than him?
