    Where is Alexander Povetkin?

A couple of months ago, we heard he had a new trainer in Teddy Atlas and he was going to take a warm-up fight in September, before fighting Wladimir Klitschko.

But there's been no fight scheduled, and there have been no reports of any discussions going on between Povetkin and possible opponents.

It was suggested he might fight for an interim title, but the IBF doesn't do interim titles as far as I know. Someone suggested he might fight Maskaev, but I've never read anything about discussions going on.

So why doesn't he have his warm-up fight scheduled by now? Where is Povetkin?

All I heard was Teddy Atlas was training him. And that it took a while for him to understand that when Teddy tells you to do something, you have to do the exact opposite.

      Abolutely no idea.

Atlas can only spell trouble though. I really, really don't like that guy.

He's gonna fight in December allegedley. Don't know if it's in Germany or US. Malik Scott, Samuel Peter, and Francois Botha I've heard thrown around.

            Thanks for the update.

Malik Scott would be good. The crude but hard-punching Sam Peter would be dangerous because of Povetkin's lack of defense.

Yes, Teddy Atlas will ruin him.

Atlas is mentally unstable. He once went to Donny Lalonde's house with a gun intending to shoot him.

Tough guy, consistent contender over the years. Not an easy opponent for anyone.
