Canelo won’t be fighting Beterbiev any time soon. Although I do believe he will eventually. Charlo or Bivol are most likely his next 2 fights. Charlo in may, if he wins then Bivol in September, and should he win that as well, then maybe, he might fight Beterbiev.

He has a big heart and great chin, but he is at best 5'8" tall with an ordinary reach for a man of that stature. He fights in beast mode but does not have "one-hitter quitter" power. He beats his opponents into submission over several rounds. Beterbiev is an undefeated beast writ in large with all wins via knockout. He is a BIG light-heavyweight who fought at heavyweight in the Olympics.

I don't hear the same chorus of haters insisting that the 6 ft Charlo or the 6'2' Benevidez, or any other of these weight bullies move up in weight. Let' keep things in perspective and give Canelo his due. Let's not insist that he perform at superhero levels and at the same time remain gloss over the fact that many of these other "champions" continue to fight bums. Even if Canelo beats Beterbiev, haters will continue to denigrate him and not accept his extraordinary accomplishments. That is a sad commentary on our times.
solid points. And that’s why I believe he fights Charlo/ Bivol type schedule next year. Judging off Charlo vs Montiel and Bivol vs Richards, I feel canelo’s management will lean towards one of them next. But eventually he might face Beterbiev.

Do you think Bivol, Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez and Golovkin will stop cherrypicking bums and fight someone elite while waiting for Canelo?

Will those guys finally start growing some bàlls and stop ducking Beterbiev?

What did he do after being KOd by Beterbiev? Won 3 fights against 29-2, 32-2 and 34-2 opponents. He beats fighters with good records. Probably by your definition everyone is a bum, except world champions? And even some of them are bums as well?
Hahah i bet if Canelo was to fight Callum Johnson everyone will be going what who is that Bum

This is what Bivol said about Beterbiev...

Dont bother to explain obvious things to that clown. He probably thinks canelito would bet Usyk as well lol

Arthur been fighting a bunch or ranked dude like Brown next or former champs.
And I believe you've honestly never examined his career and only seen 2 or 3 fights. Granite chinned my ass lol.

and that's why I said a while ago that Canelo knocks him out. No defense, about 40 and slow. Being bigger doesn't always get you the win. Ask Joshua..

It's like walking into a middle school lunchroom on here. Everyone clamoring with their definitives.

Nobody knows who has offered to fight these guys and who's ducking. A lot of athletes get hurt and don't say anything publicly. Offers get sent and fighters sometimes can't accept the fight for whatever reason. Money, promotional companies, health, family, etc., all play a part in how these matches get made. How about we just sit back and enjoy the ride instead calling every fighter we don't like a "tomato can" or "taxi driver" or just a flat out bum?

I've been saying this for a while. Beterbiev is really the only big threat left around SMW. Bivol is a good talent but his fighting style would make it so the judges just give Canelo the win. Unfortunately, like what he did against Kovalev he'll wait until Beterbiev is old and faded before he fights him.
